Editorial standards

The rules Postabay applies to everything it publishes, including automatically generated pages.

Who is accountable

Final responsibility for all content, corrections and takedown decisions rests with the publisher:

Most pages here are produced by an automated process. We attribute them to the publishing company rather than inventing bylines for journalists who do not exist.

Sourcing and attribution

  • Every aggregated story names the news organisation that reported it and links to their version.
  • The canonical link on an aggregated page points to the originating publisher, so search engines credit them as the source.
  • We do not present another organisation's reporting as our own original journalism.
  • Any publisher who does not want their feed aggregated here can say so at legal@postabay.com and we will remove them promptly.

Accuracy

  • We do not invent facts, figures, quotes, events or market movements.
  • Financial figures are reproduced as reported by the originating publisher or market data provider, not estimated or rounded by us.
  • Where a story is developing, the originating publisher's page is authoritative and may have been updated since we aggregated it.

Images

Photographs are openly-licensed library images used for illustration only. They are not photographs of the specific events described. We do not publish AI-generated or synthetic imagery, and we do not use images that imply a person or organisation was present at, or connected to, an event they had no part in.

Independence

Editorial selection is independent of commercial activity. We do not accept payment for coverage, and advertising is labelled. No advertiser has the right to review content before publication.

Errors

We correct mistakes openly rather than quietly deleting them. See the corrections policy.
